Q. Why am I having so much trouble growing grass under my tree?
A. There are two reasons why grass does not grow under a tree, the first is lack of water the second is lack of sunshine. In the Texas heat a large tree will suck up to 10 gallons of water an hour, so it is survival of the fittest, who is going to survive the tree or the grass, the tree of course. Next is lack of sunshine, Bermuda grass does not grow under a large shade tree, St.Augustine grass can if the tree has been thinned out enough. Even St.Augustine grass requires a minimum of 4 hrs. filtered sunlight per day.

Q. Do you bag the clippings when you come to cut the grass?
A. We try to mulch as much as possible, however if after making a couple passes with the lawn mower and it looks like its going to leave clumps, we do put the bag on. |
Q. What do you do with the debris collected from my property?
A. We leave the grass in bio-degradable paper bags in the same area as your normal trash pickup. We also cut and bundle branches to length, all within city specs. |

Q. What is average billing?
A. Average billing is where we take all the services you would have in a years time and divide by 12 and you pay one flat price on the first of each month. (Example: 38 lawn services 34 weekly in the summer, and 4 once a month winter services x the weekly rate and divide by 12 months) This way it is lot easier to say, did I pay March yes, did I pay June yes, this is the same money. Just an easier way to pay, and we even invoice you 2-3 weeks before its even due. |
Q. What does your 24 hr guarantee mean?
A. It means that if your not happy with any service we perform, call in within 24 hrs and we will go back and fix, redo whatever wasnt done right. No excuses. Otherwise we will just catch it the next service. Regardless we want you happy.

Q. Why are monthly winter lawn services needed? |

A. There are several reasons, first of all we come right before Thanksgiving, then before Christmas because it is a must to look good for the holidays, we come in the middle of January and February to do your monthly clean ups and catch any leaves that still need to be caught as well as mow down spring weeds that are just trying to grow in February. This helps prevent the spread of the dreaded spring weed seed. The best is a monthly winter service costs the same as a weekly service, and there is no baggage charge when doing all 4 winter months. |
Q. Can I leave my credit card on file?
A. Yes, many people leave their card on file, then we charge your recurring bill on the first of each month, or when it comes due. We do accept all of them. |

Q. What if it rains on my scheduled day?
A. Sometimes it rains in the morning and we still work in the afternoon, sometimes it is a complete washout and we will just come the next day. Regardless we try to keep coming until your done for the week. If the ground is damp, we can still mow, we will have to bag it to prevent grass clumps. |

Q. What if I have a lock on my gate?
A. To insure timely service a combination lock is the best, let us know what it is so we can put it on your file, each weekly schedule that comes off the computer will automatically have your combo next to your name.
